At Modern Optical, we encourage a culture of giving for optical-related causes as well as many other worthy organizations. Our employees, collectively as a company and as individuals, are strong believers in giving generously to organizations that speak to their passions. Here are just a few examples of charitable organizations that we’ve actively supported through the years.

Lions Club – With 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members, Lion’s Club is the world's largest service club organization serving children who need eyeglasses, seniors who don’t have enough to eat, and people we may never meet. Lions Clubs collect millions of eyeglasses each year to address the need for glasses around the world. www.lionsclub.org

Kindness is Doing Something Special for Kids - K.I.D.S.S. for Kids is an all-volunteer, non-profit fundraising auxiliary of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. All fundraising activities benefit the hospitals’ Family Support Services programs, which focus on the emotional well-being of the patients and their families. www.kidssforkids.org

Vision of Hope – This philanthropic organization, an affiliate of the Optician’s Association of America, is committed to building a Better Life Through Vision Care for Those Who Need It Most. The Vision of Hope Foundation challenges opticians to look within their own States to find opportunities to help people in need to improve their lives through better vision.  www.oaavoh.org
