Modern Optical’s websites are not targeted for use by children under the age of 13. Modern Optical does not knowingly collect personal information from children in connection with the features of our websites without the consent of a parent or guardian. Modern Optical requests that all visitors under 13 to our websites to not disclose or provide any personally identifiable information. Upon notification that a child under 13 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete the child’s personally identifiable information from our records.

If you are visiting our website from another country, the laws governing our website’s collection and use of personal information may be different from the laws of your country. Optical measurements collected from the iOS devices using the TrueDepth Sensor API will only be used for the creation of the custom lenses for eyewear products. This data is used internally for the creation of the lenses and not shared with any third party. The data includes pupil distance, segment height and caliber. This data can be deleted on any user request.
